Our story
Founded in 1957 as Handicabs, Transit Team began with a mission to provide safe, reliable transportation for individuals with disabilities in the Twin Cities. Inspired by founder Max Kantor’s vision, the company steadily grew, expanding its fleet and services to meet the needs of the community.
Today, as part of the Beacon Mobility family, Transit Team continues to honor its roots by providing exceptional paratransit and dial-a-ride services. With a focus on safety, courtesy, and care, the company remains committed to improving the lives of its passengers.

In 2021, Transit Team joined the Beacon Mobility family of transportation companies.
